Little bears have a lot of fun: Our littlest guests can expect a colourful world just for them at the Bear Club. Here, friendships are quickly made and kids experience exciting adventures. Whether inside the hotel or outside in the great outdoors, our family hotel offers plenty of room for imagining and childhood dreams. And the parents? They’ll enjoy a well-deserved break with us.

Adventure world

Hotel Bella Vista is nestled amidst lush meadows and green forests with stunning views of South Tyrol’s highest mountains. And at the heart of this fantastic setting: our huge adventure world.

  • 5000m² outdoor play area: Around our hotel you’ll find a large playground with swings, seesaws, trampoline, climbing tower, climbing wall, suspension bridge, and two slides. The huge sandpit and water fountain quickly turn kids into little builders.
  • Teepee with activities such as face painting, hide-and-seek, making bow and arrows or feather headdresses, roasting twist bread over the campfire, and more
  • Trafoi Canyon: Over the course of the millennia, Trafoi stream has sculpted a beautiful canyon through our countryside. It is located just a few steps from the hotel, and children can build dams there, depending on the height of the water, and also play with driftwood.
  • Witch’s House at Trafoi Canyon for short, exciting excursions with the kids: leisurely sunset hikes in summer and as a popular resting place during the kids’ snowshoe hike in winter – because they can enjoy the popular herbal tea.

Bathing lake

In the middle of the lower playground, you’ll find a little bathing lake and mountain stream. Right next to the lake is a giant sandpit for building sandcastles. While the parents relax on spa loungers, enjoying the sunshine and the panoramic views, the kids can play enthusiastically in the water: building dams, collecting water, pirate hunts with the raft, splashing, or taking a dip in the lake and then warming up in the outdoor hot tub (33°C) – playing in the water is so much fun!

Kinderalm

Children joyfully play in an old hayloft, laughing and tossing hay into the air, a scene filled with light-heartedness and joy at Hotel Bella Vista.

A whole world just for children: In the two-storey barn, kids can play to their heart’s content under the watchful eye of our caregivers and enjoy handicrafts, painting, climbing, jumping, and romping. Slide down directly into the hay, enjoy a hay battle, or just sniff the hay. Older kids can race our mountain Kettcars across the meadow … on your marks, get set, go!

Farm experience

Highland cattle relax on a meadow in Vinschgau, their distinctive horns and shaggy coat providing a natural contrast to the tranquil Alpine backdrop.

Let’s visit the Kuntnerhof farm opposite the hotel, where highland cows, pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, and ponies live happily – to get to know the animals, we visit the farm together as part of our childcare programme! By the way, we also use meat from the Kuntnerhof farm in our Alpine cuisine – short distances, more taste, and known origins.

Free childcare for children aged three and over with qualified nature educators – babysitting for smaller children on request

In summer

  • Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
     

In winter

  • Monday to Friday from 12.30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Supervision for small children from Monday to Friday from 9.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In the pool area of Hotel Bella Vista, a family enjoys leisurely moments on a round lounge bed, with children delighting in watermelon.

  • Varied and attractive children’s menus, primarily made with South Tyrolean products
  • Buffets (breakfast and salad buffet) at child height
